Creekside Cabin located on the Berry Creek Ranch sits at the base of the Strawberry Wilderness just 8 miles from John Day City Center. Clean comfortable 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin overlooking Berry Creek and a pond.
The space
The Creekside Cabin sits at the base of the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness, The seclusion of the cabin makes it unique, with Berry Creek running through the yard and easy access to a private stocked trout pond.

Many options are available depending on your vacation needs from relaxing around the pond and never leaving the very private cabin or venture out hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, birding, star gazing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the surrounding area of John Day, Grant County.
Guest access
You may walk along the creek and or sit by the pond. There is a firepit near the pond, ask first before starting a camp fire and we will adivse of fire restrictions.
Other things to note
We do have internet, but it is very Slow Internet. Also, cell service is limited and we do have a booster for Verizon and it may help with other cell service. We also provide a hard phone line at the cabin for your use if needed.

We have a No Smoking and No pet policy.

We do have storage room for your equipment trailer. The use of ATV’s, UTV’s and snowmobiles is NOT allowed on our property.
