The Blue Mountain Eagle is a local newspaper published weekly as a subsidiary of the East Oregonian Publishing Co. which includes the East Oregonian, The Daily Astorian, Capital Press, Chinook Observer and the Wallowa County Chieftain.

EO Media Group is a family-owned company that has been publishing newspapers in Oregon and Washington since 1908. The company is in its fourth generation of family ownership.
